Cana  It is important for us to know that this life we now have in Him is not govern by the flesh but by His Spirit (Jn1:12-13). by: Pastor Sonny Hardman (Discipleship in-Charge) Discipleship as I have discussed in my previous article as being done with the teacher living with his students and showing them what he is trying to teach. The Lord Jesus discipled the Apostles by showing them what He is teaching by what He does. Many of those teachings were done by the miracles He performed in their presence.
John 20:30-31 said to be the reason for the writing of this Gospel by John and at the same time tells us that through the miracles He performed by which He teach us that we may believe Him. Having known of this truth, it is good for us to look into these miracles in order for us to learn what our Great Teacher (Rabboni) has to teach us.
Holding Fast “Let us hold fast the confession of our hope without wavering, for He who promised is faithful.”
Hebrews 10:23 As group of believers, there are times that we become troubled and impatient of the things we should be as body of Christ. There are moments we thought if God is really moving in the church and there are questions in our minds whether the presence of His Spirit is upon us. Sometimes we doubt that we are indeed a church considering our slow physical and spiritual growth, the mission and ministry yet to be fulfilled and developed, the many areas around us which need to be reach out for the Lord and the vacant chairs still to be filled with precious souls.  With this in mind and the big task ahead of us as we enter the New Year, what hope lies for the church in continuing to fulfill the work of the Lord? Can we measure our success by the physical things that are evident in terms of growth, ministry, and being dynamic? Shall we focus alone on what we feel we are or simply focus on the promises of God? What is our assurance that God is working through us in terms of growth the way the church should be?
Earnest What would I desire most at the moment?
That my life would, up to that point, bring pleasure to my Lord In the light of what my Saviour Jesus had done
I pray that my life would be a pleasing sacrifice to God May my life would be played so sweetly like a song to the Almighty
Every chord, every note an offering of worship
Worship God our Maker   Come, let us bow down in worship, let us kneel before the Lord our Maker: For he is our God and we are the people of his pasture, the flock under his care. - Psalms 95:6-7 NIV

Verse of the Day

1 Peter 3:15
“But in your hearts set apart Christ as Lord. Always be prepared to give an answer to everyone who asks you to give the reason for the hope that you have. But do this with gentleness and respect,”

Life Testimony

I want to testify how great the love and mercy of God towards my life  of how He changed me and brought me to the family of God. My heart was overflowing with joy and gratefulness when I received Jesus Christ as my personal Lord and Savior and became Born Again for I know I was not worthy for his love and mercy.

Four Spiritual Laws

Have You Heard of the Four Spiritual Laws Just as there are physical laws that govern the physical universe, so are there spiritual laws that govern your relationship with God.

1. God LOVES you and offers a wonderful PLAN for your life.

God's Love "God so loved the world that He gave His one and only Son, that whoever believes in Him shall not perish, but have eternal life."
(John 3:16 NIV)

God's Plan [Christ speaking] "I came that they might have life, and might have it abundantly" [that it might be full and meaningful].
(John 10:10)

Why is it that most people are not experiencing the abundant life? Because...

2. Man is SINFUL and SEPARATED from God. Therefore, he cannot know and experience God's love and plan for his life.

Man Is Sinful
"All have sinned and fall short of the glory of God." (Romans 3:23)
Man was created to have fellowship with God; but, because of his stubborn self-will, he chose to go his own independent way, and fellowship with God was broken. This self-will, characterized by an attitude of active rebellion or passive indifference, is an evidence of what the Bible calls sin.

Man Is Separated
"The wages of sin is death" [spiritual separation from God].
(Romans 6:23)

This diagram illustrates that God is holy and man is sinful. A great gulf separates the two. The arrows illustrate that man is continually trying to reach God and the abundant life through his own efforts, such as a good life, philosophy, or religion - but he inevitably fails.

The third law explains the only way to bridge this gulf...
