What would I desire most at the moment?
That my life would, up to that point, bring pleasure to my Lord

In the light of what my Saviour Jesus had done
I pray that my life would be a pleasing sacrifice to God

May my life would be played so sweetly like a song to the Almighty
Every chord, every note an offering of worship

That every day my life would be consumed like incense, a sweet aroma to God
My heart desires for His presence, where all cares of the world and self are gone

And the sweet intimate moment of eternity is felt in the glory of the Lord
Where my Lord hears my cry and I listen to His Word as I seek His heart

For He is my direction and my delight, truth and totality, my life and my longing
Every blessing and my whole being is in gratitude of His making

For my pleasure is to seek His glory, that even in my simple existence
A shout of praise and a declaration of His exalted majesty would be heard
